Thanks to the MIB program, I gained a thorough
understanding of the changing business world in an international
perspective.
Courses such as intercultural management, geopolitics,
Strategic Marketing, International Business Economics interested me a
lot. The professors‘ admirable expertise and experience helped me to
broaden my view and expand my knowlege. Not only these professors were
from different countries like Greece, UK, Germany, France etc. But also
my classmates and schoolmates were from different parts of the world. I
profited much from this truly intercultural environment. I was also
very grateful for the additional French language lessons provided,
which thereafter made me able to make use of another foreign language
and appreciate more of the French culture. Brest is a very nice town. I
visited a lot of impressive landscapes around it and participated in
many activities and celebrations there, I love Brest and still miss it
a lot!
Now, I work in China, as a Marketing and Administration Manager for a
company dealing with medical instruments/equipments. The Chinese market
is famous for its size and potential, but it needs to be nurtured. As
the sanitary condition in China is still poor and the self first-aid
concept not widespread, there is a lot to do. Our mission today is to
distribute the finest medical equipments from a professional European
manufacturer to the Chinese Emergency and first-aid market. The
knowlege I gained from MIB is very beneficial in my current job. I am
certain that I will be able to apply more of what I learnt to the
future challenges lying ahead on my career path.
